Maryland Handgun Permit Renewal (MD Wear and Carry) – TNT Enhanced Conceal Carry Class

Course Overview: Our Maryland Handgun Permit Renewal class, also known as MD Wear and Carry, goes above and beyond the Renewal Requirements for the Maryland Handgun Permit (HGP). Recognized by multiple states, this course provides comprehensive training in firearm safety, concealed carry techniques, and defensive handgun skills.

Topics include: The course covers essential topics such as firearm safety, drawing from concealment, loading, and stoppage remediation, as well as the crucial aspect of mindset.

Course Highlights:

Live Fire Training: Students will engage in live fire training, honing their shooting skills and completing a shooting qualification.

Educational Resources: Students receive two comprehensive handbooks and a course completion certificate upon finishing the class.

Shooting Simulator: Our unique offering includes a Shooting Simulator, a valuable training tool that sets us apart from other firearms training providers. In this simulator session, students reinforce the "Basic Fundamentals" learned in the classroom and explore "Basic Defensive Handgun Skills." This method has proven to expedite skill development and retention, making you more proficient in less time.

Kinesthetic Awareness: Through incremental conditioning, students develop "Kinesthetic Awareness" (muscle memory) and improve their proficiency.

Judgment Training: The simulator introduces students to the critical aspect of judgment training, enhancing decision-making skills in real-life scenarios.

Live Fire Qualification: The course concludes with the MD live fire qualification component.

• A quality pistol suitable for concealed carry (recommended caliber: 9mm or .38 Special).
• Quality strong-side hip or appendix holster (IWB or OWB) with form-fitted design and trigger/trigger guard coverage. Holsters not meeting this standard are unsafe and will not be permitted.
• A quality belt designed for holster and firearm carry (strongly recommended).
• Spare magazines or speed loaders (if using a revolver as your primary carry option) with appropriate pouches. A minimum of two spares (three recommended).
• Concealed carry-appropriate clothing, including a light cover garment or jacket. Open-toed shoes and low-cut shirts are not recommended for safety reasons.
• 25 rounds of practice ammunition for your qualification.
